School uniforms and bags to the children
Team Return to Africa – Uganda delivered school uniforms and school bags to the children of God's Will Community Nursery and Primary School, nestled in Mubako Village right at the edge of Murchison Falls National Park.
The smiles said it all — pure joy across every face, children and staff alike! 😊
A heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire Return to Africa family for making this happen. 🙏
In Uganda, school uniforms are not optional — they are a requirement. Yet for most families in this community, affording them is nearly impossible. These families live in extreme poverty, relying entirely on subsistence farming, which is constantly threatened by wildlife straying from the national park. A single night of elephants or buffalo can devastate an entire season's harvest — leaving families with nothing. No savings. No backup income. And no way to meet even the most basic school needs.
When a child shows up without a uniform their self esteem is affected. They withdraw, they stay away, and their confidence and learning suffer silently.
We hold firmly to this belief — no child should be held back from education because of poverty that was never their fault.
Together, we are changing that.💪💪💪
