Return To Africa Foundation (RTA)
Brings Hope to Children and Village Communities in Uganda
The Return To Africa Foundation (RTA) is proud to share a successful community outreach visit carried out by our Uganda representative, Adrine Nankunda, together with our dedicated staff team.
During the visit, the team had the opportunity to meet children and female students at local schools and engage with families in village communities. As part of the outreach program, the Foundation provided footballs and sports clothing to support children's recreational and sporting activities. The children and students were excited and grateful for the opportunity to play, learn, and participate in healthy activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and personal development.
The outreach program also included female students who warmly welcomed the Foundation team. Through meaningful conversations, the team learned more about the challenges many young girls face in accessing education and essential resources. The visit reinforced the Foundation's commitment to supporting girls' education, health, and empowerment, ensuring that every young woman has the opportunity to achieve her full potential.
In addition, the Foundation distributed clothing, sanitary supplies, and food assistance to vulnerable families within the village communities. The support brought joy and relief to many households, helping to address some of the daily challenges faced by women, children, students, and families.
Ms. Adrine Nankunda and the RTA staff spent valuable time with the community, listening to their concerns and learning more about their needs. The team was deeply touched by the warm welcome they received and inspired by the resilience and determination of the people they met. They noted how happy and appreciative the children, female students, and community members were to receive the support and spend time with the Foundation team.
The visit highlighted the importance of continued support and investment in children, young women, and rural communities. While the assistance provided made a positive impact, much more remains to be done. Many families still need access to education, healthcare, sanitation, nutrition, and opportunities for a better future.
The Return To Africa Foundation remains committed to working harder and expanding its efforts to support women and children across Africa. We call upon partners, donors, volunteers, and compassionate individuals around the world to join us in this mission. Together, we can create lasting change and help build stronger, healthier, and more dignified communities.
"Every child deserves hope. Every young woman deserves opportunity. Every family deserves dignity. Together, we can make a difference."
